Check this out!
I captured this butterfly on my phonecam today at a duckpond. This duck pond where mannequins go fishing on their own little platforms... WTF? ...My son acted like this was something he sees on every street corner, which puzzled me more! Are fishing mannequins some culture fad I missed or something ^^ ?

Had a damn nice family walk around Sawbridgeworth the other day. We took in an antiques/collectors centre (junk shop to you and me^^) which was really interesting...for me and my wife....Ethan (my little lad)spent about 3 minutes scoping the place for ice creams and power rangers and once he concluded there were neither present, he began the 'are we going home now?' bit that kids do on these occasions :-)

Went for a long walk with the Mrs today, around the shops. We took in, among others, the new camping/outdoors place thats gone up here. First impressions were tepid.'middle-class-twat-macho-wannabe-ego-rubbing' came to mind but i think Barbeque tarzan works too ;) . Padded recliners and heated foot cosys..., matresses that look deeper than the one on our bed at home, pah! You're supposed to get chased by bears and/or get hypothermia when you go camping, not sip cocktails, but hey whatever ;p
Went to the mudfarm later on today, Mrs got some pics.

I've got blisters. Big popped ones on the joints of my fingers and thumb. Ones where the pain is almost nice when stretching them but tingly nasty running spiders when mmy hands are relaxed =( They're from skimming some turf off my allotment, about the size of 2 parking spaces...(the cleared area, not the blisters;p) I gotta come up with something interesting to blog about soon!....
Im taking Ideas if anyone reads this! Just make a suggestion and Ill write what I think about it. Or something ;o)

So I started at the gym today. Wanting to lose some belly and gain some arms^^ Was ok I guess, treadmills (with built in TV's showing soap operas -no sound just the picture, WTF is with that??) were off my list tho. I have to walk 40 mins to get to the gym (and 40 back after) plus this kinda thing knocking round the web puts me off ... :)

Orange sky

I dunno why but I have some very clear memories from a young age (4 or 5) of looking out of the living room window in my parents house and seeing the sky in a strong shade of orange in the late evening. I've often wondered why I don't see that nowadays. I thought it may be the sodium street lights or pollution through the clouds (there were factories with big old chimneys a bit behind our house). Maybe its my eyes getting less sensitive over the years and children still see orange night skies! I dunno, its a nice memory though :]

This is apparently some real government info leaflet or something from the days when women were first being kept in captivity.
I tried not to chuckle but failed ;))

These and many other sweets and snacks are guilty of delayed toothnapping. They all tasted so good back in the day... *sigh*

Ok, when I was growing up the general belief about what robots in the future would be like was this...
Sharp witted hunters of men. Meticulous and cold in their persuit of death to the inferior human!
What we got was this...
Cold, hard sausage liner-upper. Still cool robots :-)
