Sawdust in my coffee

Thursday 13 May 2010 at 01:37
So I've been busy in the shed over the last month, and I now have a bit of wood that looks abit like a guitar body, yay ! Granted I spent most of that time putting up shelves and making a workbench and other stuff to make the shed more workshoppy, but I do have a little progress !

This is the mainly before piccys :-

And this is the mainly after :)

I must say it is a fun thing to do but man, there are sooooooooooo many little things that you need to either have or know to tackle some of it it boggles me!
Will be good to have an electric guitar again once im done:)
I have been thinking about putting up a step-by-step guide here but Im not sure if anyone is really interested to tell the truth, its technical and all that so not everyone's cup of sawdusty tea :)
Oh in a fit of teenage-throwback (I was something of a 'goth' but once upon a time^^) Ive decided to name the guitar ....... THE RAVEN ! hehhe xD
Here's a suitable pic, best raven pic i could find!

  1. Wow, you've got a really good start on it. What kind of wood are you making it from?

Your guitar is coming along nicely.
You would be surprised at how many people would find a step by step article interesting.

  3. your guitars are nice, but the bird looks really, really cute.
